Who is Mahesh Manzar ?

  • Lifelong Congressman, poet, and public speaker

  • Former associate of three times chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dikshit.
    Close to Rajiv Gandhi and Rajesh Khanna.

  • His Hindi and Urdu books, published by the Hindi and Urdu Academies respectively in 2001, were formally launched at a grand ceremony on January 20, 2002 at IHC, New Delhi. More than four-hour celebrations were graced by the then CM, several former Union Ministers, Governors, and leading intellectuals from the Hindi, Urdu, and English literary world.

  • The English translations was launched by H E the Vice President of India, Md. Hamid Ansari at V.P House in 2014.

  • The French translations of his poetry book was received by the Honourable President of India, Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan in 2017.

  • He dedicated more than 50 years of his life to Congress Party, establishing himself as a key organiser.

  • He Trasnslated Mani Shankar Aiyar's politicals works from english to hindi/urdu for more than 3 decades.

  • He was part of Sonia Gandhi's speech-writing team during the pivotal 1999 General Elections.
